Terms of Service
Last updated: October 22, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between KAEFAH Technologies, LLC ("we", "us"), the company that operates KT Front Desk, and the business that uses KT Front Desk ("you"). By requesting a demo, creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these Terms on behalf of your business and confirm that you have authority to do so.
1. The service
KT Front Desk is an AI chat assistant that businesses add to their websites, with a client portal to manage it (the "Service"). The Service answers website visitors using your business information, captures leads, lets your staff take over conversations, and provides conversation history, alerts, settings and support in the client portal. We may improve and change the Service, but we will not materially reduce the core features of your paid plan during a paid billing period.
2. Free demos
We may offer a free demo built from your website's public content. Demos are limited in time and usage, end automatically, and are provided as is.
3. Your account
You are responsible for your users' accounts, for keeping sign-in details secure, and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Plans, fees and payment
Plans and prices. Plans, prices, billing cycles, any setup fee, any free trial and each plan's usage limits are shown on our pricing page and at checkout. The price shown at checkout is the price you agree to.
Payment. You authorize us, through our payment processor, to charge your payment method for your plan, any setup fee and applicable taxes.
Automatic renewal. YOUR SUBSCRIPTION RENEWS AUTOMATICALLY at the end of each monthly or yearly billing period at the then-current price for your plan until you cancel, and we charge your payment method at the start of each renewal period. If your plan includes a free trial, you will be charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. Price changes apply from your next billing period after we notify you.
Cancellation. You can cancel at any time through our contact form. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and the Service remains available until then.
Refunds. Fees are non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund or these Terms say otherwise.
Usage limits. If you reach your plan's usage limit, AI replies may be limited until the limit resets or you upgrade.
Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may suspend the Service until payment is made.
5. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate business information and keep the assistant's settings up to date.
- Tell visitors to your website, in your own privacy policy, that you use an AI chat assistant provided by a third party and how you use the information they share.
- Not use the Service to give emergency, medical, legal or financial advice, or to collect payment card numbers, government identification numbers, health information or other sensitive information. The Service is not designed for information protected by HIPAA.
- Comply with the laws that apply to your business and your communications with visitors and leads.
6. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Use the Service for anything unlawful, deceptive, harassing, discriminatory or infringing.
- Set up the assistant to claim to be a human when a visitor asks whether they are talking to a person.
- Attempt to bypass security or usage limits, access another client's data, or attack the Service.
- Resell the Service or use it to build a competing product.
- Send spam through the Service.
We may suspend use that breaks these rules or threatens the security or availability of the Service.
7. AI-generated replies
The assistant's replies are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. You are responsible for how you rely on them. You can take over any conversation and reply in person.
8. Your data
You own the information you provide and the conversations and leads collected through your assistant ("Client Data"). You allow us to use Client Data only to provide, secure and support the Service and as described in our Privacy Policy.
We will process personal information in Client Data on your behalf, not sell it, not use it for advertising or to train AI models, protect it with appropriate security, and require our service providers to do the same. After your subscription ends, we may delete Client Data, except where the law requires us to keep records.
9. Our intellectual property
We own the Service, including its software and content. These Terms give you the right to use the Service during your subscription and do not transfer ownership. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
10. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers whose availability can affect it. If you connect a Google account, your use of it is also subject to Google's terms.
11. Availability and support
We work to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. You can contact support through the client portal.
12. Suspension and termination
You can cancel as described in section 4. We may suspend or end the Service if you materially breach these Terms and do not fix the breach within 10 days of our notice, immediately if your use threatens the security of the Service or other clients, or if the law requires. If we end the Service without cause, we will refund prepaid fees for the unused period.
13. Disclaimers
Except as stated in these Terms, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, and each party's total liability under these Terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. These limits do not apply to your payment obligations, your indemnity obligations, or a party's gross negligence or willful misconduct.
15. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify KAEFAH Technologies, LLC against third-party claims arising from your Client Data, your business information, your breach of these Terms or your violation of law.
16. Changes to these Terms
We will post updated Terms on this page and update the date above. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be decided in the state or federal courts located in Maryland, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction. Before starting a formal dispute, each party will try to resolve it informally for 30 days.
18. General
These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. We send notices to your account email address or through the client portal.
